The Story
You are an ex-Mafia hitman named Tommy Vercetti... oh crap... wrong game... *thinks hard*... oh yeah... here we go... Having recently moved to a new city, you're ready to start your life over. The crime rate here is high, and the city is ruled by ruthless criminals. After being run down by a passing bicyclist, you vow revenge against those criminal lords. As you go about your daily life, earning money, training your strength, and appearing normal, you plan your vengeance...
The locations:
Your House: This is where you have to go in order to sleep. (sleeping recovers time... the more you sleep, the more stuff you can do before you have to sleep again). You may also call your girlfriend from here (if you have one).
The Store: This is where you can purchase a variety of items, from the club pass to a new suit.
Your Job: Unfortunately, a waterline broke in the building, and your job is currently closed. You will need to find work elsewhere for now.
Car Dealership: You can buy a car here. All cars allow you to move twice as fast as you would without one, but they offer different coolness bonuses. Some (*cough* Pinto *cough*) even subtract from your coolness level. You may also purchase car accessories here.
School: Here you can workout or learn some. Intelligence directly affects your ability to fight, your ability to get a job, and several other game events.
The Club: At the Club you can catch up with friends, have a drink, or work as a bouncer. The club will only be open certain times of the day, and you can only enter if you have a high enough coolness level.
There will be more locations in later releases.
The stats:
Coolness: Determines how cool you are.
Intelligence: Determines how intellignent you are.
Strength: Determines how strong you are.
Money: Determines how rich or poor you are.
There are also a number of other stats the game uses to track your progress, though they are not really important to you.
