I didn't get anything directly TI related, but I did get a 17" LCD display for my desktop. It's so nice I'm now spending more time on the computer each day (with less eyestrain) and so my ASM coding will increase during winter break :)

Yeah I agree. I really am not into calculators as much as I was one year ago. I have two 89s (hardware 1 I may add) and one 83+
There isn't really anything else I need.

I've been in calc for 2 years already - and i still shorten it to calc, because I can never remember whether it's calculus, or calculas! :-)

How old are most people who program/have a calculator? At first I thought everybody was as young as I am but I'm only 13! I got my first calculator when I was 11, though. And your all taking calculus!

Well, I' 13 and I program ASM and basic on my 86. I got the 86 this year because I'm in Algebra 2 and last year I had a ti 82. So there is an age span.

well, first you have to understand that we are here on Earth to be tested. 2nd, you have to know that the better you do on the test, the more glory you get in heaven. Good people have already taken the lower quizes, and passed those. a bad thing happening to someone is another quiz, if it's a good person, then it's a higher quiz. you must also understand that the quizes are not the same for all people, but in the end, it pays to be a good person FOREVER. I got my first calc (83+) in 7th grade and immediately learned TI-BASIC. In 8th grade I learned ASM, and now I'm in 9th grade with two SE's (one of which is unopened and for sale!) and nothing has really changed. But there really is an age span with calcs. My French teacher got me started with calcs, and I have far surpassed him in programming and equipment possession. So, that goes to show that calc nerds come in all ages and sizes.
