I remember that the first program I wrote was a prime factor program on a small Casio calculator. I wasn’t very good at programming then, so I didn’t get to manage the root test. Instead I stopped the program every now and then to check if it had passed the root yet.

If you don't count me copying the sierpinski triangle program from the manual verbatim... it was definitely all about the games :)

The first “real” program I remember writing was F1, an early version of F15, which is downloadable here… That was a long time ago come to think of it… I think that was a graphics program, is it a science program?
