I say Castlevania. It recreates the gameboy hack-and-slash platformer as closly as you can on the 83+

I agree. NoShell is the best and most useful program to be released this year, and is a relief from the current trend that programmers have of making large and bloated shells instead of ones that are actually functional. Not to mention that it was made by the best programmer in the community!

Also, I have seen lots of branched use from the concepts used in noshell. Many people have used Brandon's routines in their own coding. He also added in chain hooks which are a great relief. I'm tired of having to reinstall several of my apps every time I use a different, chain hogging one.

Mine, too, 'cause if it weren't for Noshell -- there's be no CalcUtil.

I voted for bowling, it really pushes the limits of Basic.

Same here and it was my favourite entry (altough It was hard to decide between Invalid Tangram and Bowling and I was really tempted to vote for Noshell)

So your trolling reaches a third forum. Well, I'll take your trollbait. Why is your life so miserable and empty that you derive pleasure from putting down others?

Just because I can't write something like Shaq-Fu doesn't mean that I would if I could. It also doesn't mean that it still doesn't suck.

Well what kerm meant is "don't bash someone ('s program) unless you can do better and show proof. Also you need to learn how to read :P. When you click "post comment" above the box where you type your comment you can read somewhere:

-Please be constructive and keep comment topics relevant to the article you are replying to.

-Don't post general help questions; for such assistance, check our Help section and our Mailing Lists.

-Don't insult or flame other people in your comments. Keep such sentiments to private email, or better yet, avoid them completely.

That said I think I just broke the second part of rule 1 because this was off-topic ._.

I tried NoShell and it messed up Mario, so I voted for Graph3. There are many 3d graphing programs, but it has a lot more, such a differential equation graphing.

Maybe, but I can still use an App called Calc Util which worked fine. Doesn't change my vote.

Okay, but all I know is that the first time I ran Mario off NoShell, my calc crashed.

Aha! finally, someone who knows what is going on. I also have Omnicalc and xLib and Graph3. Could mess with the parser hook.

Yeah, the diffeq graphing is what it got featured for, and also why I voted for it. :-) It's pretty rare to see a good mathematical program, most are just of the "do my boring homework for me" type.

That's when the authors suck as much at programming as they suck at Mathematics. :-D
