Which GPA? My major or my actual GPA?

(I voted my actual.)

We know at least 2,549 of us know how to programmatically solve a quadratic equation in BASIC, so that places an upper bound on "Uneducated". Right? It does, right? :P

It seems to me that there is a missing option:
* I don't live in the USA
I would vote for that.

I would guess that most, if not all, of the 4.00+ responders are in high school. . .

Probably. I know of no colleges that report >4.0 GPAs. I have something like a 3.98 right now (long story), but in high school I had around 4.28 (which made me valedictorian). I sure wish more professors gave +s & -s.

4.28 valedictorian? Maybe my school just has a weird weighting system, because i'm going to graduate with a 5.35 unless something weird happens and that barely would make me valedictorian.

The highest you could get in any class was a 5.0 for honors classes or 4 1/3 (I think) for normal classes, so even with all A+s you would still only get a 4.something at my high school. Weighting does indeed do weird things.

They should add slots for "I'm homeschooled", "I'm in college", and "I've finished all of my schooling for my lifetime".

Do you see the option for "2.00-3.00"? That's code for "I'm in college".

Well, I knew people in high school with GPAs in that range, but none of the college students whose GPAs I know off hand are in that range. I suppose my circle of friends in both cases was atypical, though.

With a 3.2 GPA and near full score on all SATs and SATIIs (etc) I can get into any college I can afford, which is all that really matters.

Wow, your school must be incredibly competitive if that's true... My school was a fairly competitive college and I had an unweighted 3.8, weighted 4.3 or so, with full scores on SAT II and a near full score on the ACT, along with several awards, but I got rejected by the majority of the schools I applied to =P Not that I'm unhappy with the school I got or anything, just that it's sorta depressing to get so many small envelopes from colleges -___-

Nope, I just never do homework. I don't see how it should matter though when I do great on all the tests.
