On second thought, if this is serious, then they can be put into those programs that people upload when there's already a "gazillion" of them already here...

Oh! They've finally found a use for those BASIC programs! :P I think it would be kind of funny, not being affected by the ads myself if they were implemented. :)

Why do the "bad guys" always have the much cooler acronym?

Acronyms for Pleasure and Profit

Because the good guys created the name, then the acronym, while the bad guys created the acronym, then the name.

I am compiling profiles on these superheroes+supervillains, and have just finished gathering information on the head of F.E.A.R., Madame Sarcasmo. More info soon!

List prices and show proof of availability, and functionality. Video is acceptable.

Access Codes
aladdinslamp Account Info

The codes aren't actually codes, but Reality Engine (tm) -based devices that delve into the fabric of reality and rewrite doors to be open, alarm systems to be off, etc.

F.E.A.R. HQ: $50000 (villains cost extra)

U.G.F.aE. Base: $10000

ticalc.org Server Building: $1.00

Also, if you ARE planning on purchasing one, I should warn you that there are some hazards even a Reality Engine (tm) can't rewrite.

No need. I'd just rewrite the money out of your bank account and into mine. |-] Reality Engine (tm) rules!

I understand that TIcalc needs some revenue, but implementing them in my hard-worked projects is unacceptable. I would rather see a full page of ads then see one on my calc screen when I beat Mario :(

Omg: I know they need more mony but now here they come dumping ads in our programs. This is totally unacceptable: way to much time and effort has been put into these programs to see them ruined by adds

NOOOOO!!!!!!

I've spent 3/4 of my sleeping time in the past week building a version of Linux to work with TI-BASIC (don't laugh, man, I'm grounded from comp *checks to see if mom is awake and hearing self type* so I can't ASM right now... And they go and do something like this! I would prefer banner to having adverts in my programs! Sure, some of those dumb BASIC progs that no one uses, that's alright, but in ones that are actually good for something besides adverts? NEVER! You try to port a version of Linux and all its modules to TI-BASIC! I finally finish writing kernel 1.0.1 and then this happens! Give us flash banners galore, but do not mess with our programs! (On a side note, it's not that bad if they would tell us where in the prog they are placed... so we can manually remove them...)

Otherwise, I say live and let live. If it's necessary, then do it, but by God do not go as far as messing with our programs before trying to implement banner ads!
