Search "The Games Factory" on Google. Personally, I wouldn't fel proud of a game I made by clicking and dragging objects onto the screen, but to each their own.

Same here. I prefer my games to be split into at least 10 source files, and have > 5000 lines of code total. :-p

I agree with you. I mean, to just click and drop objects onto the screen, I could see how that would be easier, but it wouldn't be as mean as much to me.

There is a program called Game Maker that can make games without any programming knowledge (well.. unless you want to make multiplayer games or something like that)

I started programming in other languages then I looked at the code for a large math and science program for TI-83+ and saw how most of the functions worked and I am in the process of debugging a game that I will be posting soon.

Most of the stuff I figured out while just messing around (BASIC), but I peeked at the manual a bit. For ASM, well, I just took a look at a couple tutorials to learn the differences between x86 and z80. :)

That's funny - you knew x86 ASM before calc. ASM.

Well to begin I was self taught, but you can only do so much with the Disp command and labels, so I learned more from the manual. For what ASM I know, I learned it all from the great z80 ASM in 28 Days tutorial.

Same here. I've read the entire manual (both the guidebook and 83pa28d) a few times, for extra measure ;)
