Yeah, same here. I don't go to TIcalc.org for one full day, March 31, and miss out on something big. Darn.

I was had by the v400, mainly because it stayed real for hours after AFD was over in GMT.

Wow, could you imagine if that were real though, except even with sound, I would die, and use my insurence money to buy it... err, something like that...

I was thinking.... It's impossible to do 256 colors with equal bit parts for R,G,B. Possibly it would use the browser-safe palette? (216 colors, with some left over for the OS, yech)

the border wasn't red, so i thought the v 400 was real. I even tried to find out when they were going to start selling...

The merchandise one was red by the time i saw it, so i couldn't really fall for that one :)

It was not very hard to see through the joke about the V400. First of all, all the calculators have a slight boarder between the pixels and the body. The store was too outrageous to be true anyway.

I didn't fall in anything, when I read the thing and looked to the Voyage 400 I tought "this must be a joke" then I saw the date, the thong thing couldn't be true so...

When the joke is on April Fool's, it always seems less believable. But, this time, I knew it was tradition to make a prank, so I was waiting for it. :)

By tradition, I was expecting them to do something like this. Now what would be really funny is if they threw everyone off by doing it the day before 4/1...

Was that store joke meant to be a decoy for the other one? I seriously doubt the ticalc.org staff would do something like that... it was pretty outrageous.

That was a good twist. I probably would have fallen for it if it wasn't on April Fool's Day. I was skeptical to everything on that day.

That kind of logic only works if you already think it's fake. Actually, I thought the V400 was "too outrageous to be true", the store was quite believable (except for the "DOITGORIGHTNOW!"), and I have to admit I fell for it (at first, when I saw the thong I realized that was fake too).
BTW, I love these jokes, keep up the good work staff!

I was thinking that we should put the store back up, with no kind of disclaimer or anything, link to it from the "about" section of the website, and whenever a newb or someone comes along and comments about the thong, we should say something like, "Well, we all have one, and it's time for you to get one too, if you're committed to ticalc.org."

I missed the voyage 400 one, but I did see the store. I might have fallen for it too, except for the fact that it had (obviously) fake pics and the heads of staff. If it had just been the ticalc.org logo or something like that, I imagine many more people would have fallen for it. Oh well, even this shows that ticalc is alive and well. Keep it up!
