I'm sure I'll have to use my 89 at some point during the summer...plus the Titanium should be coming out at some point! And actually, I have played games on my 89 while traveling before, it's actually quite amusing!

Dude, I never thought of that. It must be strange for anyone in the other hemisphere from us to hear about us talking about the seasons and everything.

I've always dreamed about getting two houses, one in the north, one in the south. That way it could alway be winter for me... Maybe I'll just work at a base in Antarctica...

why would you want it to be winter all the time? and something completely off topic, super mario v2.0 for the ti-83+ is at calcgames.org for anybody that was looking for it!

Winter is the best! I live in the New York area and go all winter in shorts and a t-shirt. For some reason people think I am crazy...

I live there too, but I like to wear pants during the winter. I mean, it's almost summer, and I'm still wearing them, in part because it really hasn't gotten too warm yet (Sure, it was ~80 today, but I felt like wearing pants and a t-shirt).

I usually wear pants in the summer and shorts in the winter, but only because, when I get up, I forget what season it is...j/k ;)

It's been over 103 here, so wearingpants isn't an option.

I have parachute-material pants that really ventilate well. I would far rather wear those than pants... not only am I pale to the extreme, but they really do keep you cooler.

winter sucks where i live because all you see is snow and it gets really boring after a while. plus you can't go around and doing stuff at night like lighting fires because you leave footprints everywhere. and lots of people walk around in shorts and a t-shirt. not people from town because they are all ooo it's too cold out just regular people that live outside of town, and it does get fun unless its march and the river floods and you try to cross it.

How about "No, id rather use VTI while i make screenshots for Morgan." That might be a better option!

Very true. Taking pictures directly from the calculator is... well, not always easy (or possible, in some cases).

It's possible to use a digital camera while taking screenshots for Morgan on a real calculator. I just don't think those are the kinds of screenshots we should be making...
VTI sounds like a much better alternative.

lol, i like that idea. Especially for a game that is good for playing in class, take a picture of someone playing it at their desk at school...

I'm sure Morgan would like a little variety in screenshots, and besides, its kind of like a mini review too...

you could make a big png poster for your program with a monochrome picture of someone playing their calc in class as the background and a bunch of screenshots on it, with a description or something... then submit no screenshots but in the file description have a link to the poster. of course, you would have to have an external host, but you could find somewhere

You could put the poster in the zip file...I'm sure the staff wouldn't mind if it's not too big of a file...

no, I don't think so. It seems like I remember a TI-89 space shooter, it didnt have very good graphics but apparently had "over 20 weapons". It was a news item and it said (this is from memory) "They even made a [link]pormotional poster[/link]!" and the link took you offsite.

I remember that too, but just because that on was an off-link one, doesn't mean that the staff MADE them do it that way...maybe they were making the poster off-site anyway, and they just told the staff, so they included it in the featuring of it...

Oh, definitely. I take my TI-89 on _every_ major trip (and small ones too). It's fun to walk down the street playing a game on your calc. People give you weird looks sometimes :)

I know what you mean... i sometimes read while walking (i would play my calc, but... the bottom 9 rows of pixles are out, so it's kinda hard to play games on, plus it's an 83+) and yes, some people seem to get... confused... i wonder how i know this, i mean, i'm reading...

Dude, you're calc is like my 85. Except on my 85, it's not always the same rows that are out...It's just kind of random. Every time I turn it on it's different. That's why I don't even have marked on this site that I have an 85.
