next poll: Microsoft support opinions :). lol, you'd probably be slashdotted. Has ticalc ever been slashdotted?

Yes, shortly after they upgraded the servers, it stood it fairly well actually...

lol, i love the update at the bottom of the news article. That's actually fairly creepy since it seems like I made that same comment about Voyage 400s an hour ago...

Your Web Page links to a private IP address (all 192.168.*.* addresses are reserved for private use).

What's the point of having that if no one not on your network can access it?

To my knowledge, we've been Slashdotted twice! We withstood both times. It's mostly an issue of bandwidth for most servers that get hit these days, and we've certainly got that in earnest.

I guess I'm too smart to use TI support.

BTW, I've finally saved up the money for 8 V400's. Now to find a cheap supplier...

Hey "genius," you are aware that the V400 is fake, right? Or were you just messing around...?

The (fake) v400 did look pretty cool in the pic though! I would buy a real one in an instant.

Ha, teachers at my school were just distributed some V200s. Students still use 92+ for Y12 and 92 for Y11. All for free ofcourse, TI decided to give certain schools located a fair distance away from each other to encourage other schools to buy their calcs =P
TI Support, is their such a thing? No, what I mean is: "Who can't comprehend how to use a calc or read the manual?"

Yeah, it's his on-going joke--angelboy is going to buy his favorite calculator, the v400. ;-)

And I've never needed TI support and neither have any of my friends. I wouldn't consider myself a genius, though :) I'm just usually able to fix whatever the problem is on my own.

I have never really needed TI support either, but I chose the first option because I DID contact them one time to obtain an older 89 rom, and they responded in less than an hour with EVERY rom attached...it was absolutely amazing. Great customer service...

A bit of clarification...by "every rom" I mean all the 89 roms every made...also, I needed them for testing purposes. I was learning C on TIGCC, and wanted to make sure my programs worked on all the roms. As it turned out, I never made anyhing to great, and so that's why I never uploaded any of em...

I asked them for the 2.08 version for the v200 and they did the same. It was rather good service! I was surprised.

Will they send me the rubber feet for free?

I wonder if they offer a discount on V400's bought in large quantities?
